Most live 1 on 1 Akashic Records readings cost between $100 and $300 (on average, 1hr). Shorter or pre-recorded readings are often under $100 and extended/specialized sessions can run $300 or more. Here is what changes the price, and how to tell whether a reading meets your needs.

Four things explain most of the difference
Length
Thirty minutes can cover one focused question. An hour allows two or three questions and real follow-up.
Experience
Readers with hundreds of sessions behind them usually charge more. Readers who are in certification programs often do free or low-cost readings for practice.
What’s included
A full recording, preparation guidance, or a written summary all add value after the session ends. Check and confirm what you’ll keep.

One reading format, one price: $250
Every Akashic Records reading here uses the same format and price, whether the focus is business, relationships, career direction or personal growth. I’ve given more than 400 readings, and I keep the structure simple so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Free readings
A free reading can be the real thing
Many free readings are short introductions or practice sessions. They can be a good way to try Akashic Record Readings out, but they do often come with restrictions and disclaimers, especially for those who are practicing (please have patience with them! We all started somewhere).
The Living Record gives away one complete 60-minute reading every month through an open drawing. The selected person receives exactly what a paying client does, including the recording. No purchase is required.
Is it worth it?
Value depends on what you bring
A reading is most useful when you arrive with a real question you’re prepared to act on: a decision you can’t settle, a pattern that keeps repeating, or a direction that won’t come clear. Vague questions tend to get general answers, at any price.

Specialized topics also tend to create price variability, especially business and career related topics.
Is a recorded Akashic reading cheaper than a live one?
Usually, yes. Recorded readings are often under $100, but you cannot ask follow-up questions in the moment. A live session lets you clarify what comes through as it happens.
Are free Akashic Records readings worth it?
They can be. Free readings are often shorter introductions or practice readings by students in training. In my experience, there are some fantastic student practitioners so it can be an excellent value. However, those types of readings often require an exchange (you read their records, they read your records).
